DIRECTIONS
The Alabama Wildlife Center is located about 20 miles south of Birmingham in the city of Pelham in the heart of Oak Mountain State Park.

From North
– Take I-65 south
– Take exit 246 (AL-119/Cahaba Valley Rd)
– Turn RIGHT at the end of exit ramp and immediately get into far left turn only lane (drive less than .1 mi.)
– Turn LEFT at first traffic light onto State Park Rd — KFC on corner (drive 1.8 mi. to stop sign)
– Turn LEFT onto John Findlay III Dr. to enter Oak Mountain State Park (entrance gate about .6 mi., then drive about 2 mi. past entrance gate)
– Turn RIGHT onto Terrace Dr. (drive about .7 mi, pass marina on right, look for our sign/entrance drive on left side of road across from marina parking lot)
– Turn LEFT onto entrance drive, drive to top of long, steep hill, parking will be on your left

From South
– Take I-65 north

Entrance is under the Alabama Wildlife Center awning.

Admission to AWC is always free. However, there is an entrance fee to Oak Mountain State Park: adults (age 12+) $5; children 4 to 11 $2 (children 3 and under free); senior citizens 61+ $2.
