Volunteer with AWC

One-of-a-kind experiences await you!

The Alabama Wildlife Center operates almost entirely through voluntary efforts.

Work with compassionate and dedicated like-minded people to keep our mission thriving. Come help make a difference for the lives of Alabama’s native wild birds.

Attending the volunteer orientation is required if you’re interested in volunteering. You’ll learn about our mission and history, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support AWC’s work. You’ll meet some of the AWC staff and volunteers, have an opportunity to ask questions, and enjoy a brief tour of our facility.
